Why I'm writing books for the people around us

I have ADHD. If you do too, you probably know the feeling: you've read the articles, watched the videos, maybe even found a few tricks that work. And then you look at the people around you (your partner, your parents, your best friend, your boss) and realize they haven't read any of it.

Most ADHD books are written for us. Very few are written for the people who live with us, love us, raise us or work next to us. That's the gap I want to fill.

So I'm writing The ADHD Circle: short, practical guides for parents, partners, siblings, friends and colleagues. Every book is built on published research, written in plain language, and full of things you can try the same day. And every one has a gift page at the front, because I think the best way to use these books is to hand one to someone you love and say: "This is me. Let's do this together."

One more thing, which I'll repeat often: if you're worried about yourself or someone close to you, a diagnosis from a qualified professional beats guessing. Books help. Specialists help more.

The first three books are on their way. I'll share what I find while writing them.
